Idea Hunting founders
The team that founded Idea Hunting has spent the last 25 years analyzing and developing ideas on the Advertising, Design, Web Design, Direct Marketing and Events industries. Inevitably, we do know how to spot a good idea.
Miguel has spent his entire career in the advertising industry, having started in 1989, initially on the account service of Lintas and DMB&B. Later on, he became account planner at Young & Rubicam Portugal, where he has worked nine years, becoming executive director and partner of this agency. When Y&R Portugal reached the first place in the national ranking, Miguel went on to another challenge, taking the lead of DDB Lisbon, where he was for four years, leading the agency to the national Top 10. In 2007, Miguel has accepted the invitation to join the organization of the global event that has occurred on 7.7.2007, The New 7 Wonders of the World, where he was general manager. Also in 2007, Miguel has again challenged himself creating the first specialized company on account planning in Portugal. He has then started Projecto Manhattan, a planning company focused on innovation.
Luís has started his career at DMB&B in 1991, where he has stayed for five years in the account service department. In 1996, he has joined Nova Publicidade, as account director. In 2000 he joined Bates Portugal, where he was executive director. In 2003, he decided to focus on account planning and started working as a freelancer for major advertising agencies in Portugal. In 2006, he became account planning director at Lowe Lisbon. Later he accepted an invitation to start an advertising startup – Creation – in Luanda, Angola, where he was executive director. In 2007, together with Miguel Velhinho, he has founded Projecto Manhattan.
