An Innovation Pitch aims to get ideas for products and services. In these pitches, Idea Hunters look for innovative Ideas that may improve their business – improving a product or a service they already have or even creating a whole new one.

To answer these pitches, Idea Creators should just describe the idea. They don’t have to produceb a maquette or a layout. Nevertheless, they may enrich their ideas by adding images (photos, illustrations, videos) that may help the Idea Hunter realize the Idea potential. The minimum Prize Money for each Winning Idea will be 250 Euros.

In these pitches, the number of Winning Ideas may be 5, 10 or 15 ideas (number to be defined by the Idea Hunter).
  • Close A Creative Pitch aims to get a materialized creative Idea (e.g.: a logo, a brand name, a press ad, a maquette of a viral film to be played online, a radio spot script, etc.). In these pitches, Idea Hunters are hunting for Ideas ready to be implemented. To describe an Idea is not enough to answer these pitches. Idea Creators must make them happen, graphically and visually, and have to upload their Ideas. The minimum Prize Money of a Winning Idea will be 1.000 Euros. In these pitches there can be only one Winning Idea.

  • Close The briefing will describe thepPitch you are about to launch to the creative community and it includes key aspects such as: what are your objectives, what is your target audience, which materials are to be developed, etc. Idea Hunting has set several topics that should be included in your briefing so that it clearly states its objectives, thus getting accurate answers from our Idea Creators. You may also check our Guide to a Good Briefing that will help you create a truly inspiring briefing.
  • Close Your briefing will be fully visible only to registered Idea Creators on Idea Hunting. On the public area your briefing will only show your pitch general objectives: these public details will be previously set by you when writting your briefing.

The pitches have 6 statuses, all visible on the Dashboard of each Idea Hunter:

Draft – When the Idea Hunter is filling the information in the briefing and has not ordered yet its publication. While in Draft Status, the pitch can be freely edited and reedited by the Idea Hunter.

Pending – After the publication order, pitches will remain in Waiting Status until we receive payment from the Idea Hunter. When the Idea Hunter orders the publication of a pitch, he will no longer be able to edit its content.

Active – When a pitch is published online and may be fully accessed by our creative community. While in Active Status, pitches may not be edited by its authors.

Evaluation – When the deadline of the pitch is due and the Idea Hunter is assessing the Ideas submitted by the Idea Creators.

Extended – When the Idea Hunter decides to extend the deadline of the pitch (changing or not its Prize Money).

Closed – When the Idea Hunter has elected a Winning Idea.
  • Close No. Pitches may only be edited by its authors up to the moment they give order to publish them. From the moment a pitch is online, it can not be changed until it reaches its deadline. If after the deadline the Idea Hunter chooses to relaunch the pitch, he may then edit it again.
  • Close Yes, you may. When writing the briefing, you will have the option to keep it anonymous.
  • Close He who launches a pitch on Idea Hunting is the one who decides what price he is willing to pay, although there are minimum participation fees to launch a pitch: Creative Pitch – Minimum 1.000 Euros (purchase of 1 idea). Innovation Pitch – Minimum 1.250 Euros (purchase of 5 ideas). Naturally, the higher the price, the greater the chances of getting more Ideas to your briefing. The contribution of our creative community is influenced by the complexity of the pitch in relation to its set price. If you demand a lot for very little money, it is unlikely that you call the attention of a great number of Idea Creators to your pitch.
  • Close It is up to you. You set the Deadline within a time spam ranging from a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 60 days. The pitch starts from the time Idea Hunting receives the service payments and will end on the deadline you have set. Each pitch will end at 23:59 GMT.
  • Close Yes, you may. When publishing your pitch, you can choose in which languages it will be available to our global creative community. By default, pitches are published in the language they were originally written by the Idea Hunters. However, they may be translated into other languages so we can reach Idea Creators from all over the world. To do this, when publishing a pitch, the Idea Hunter must simply indicate in which languages should the pitch be available. Here are some of the languages available on Idea Hunting: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch. You should also define in which languages you are willing to receive the Ideas. If you do not understand Dutch, we advise you not to choose this language. ;-)
  • Close Attached to your pitch, on your Dashboard, Ideas will be shown sequentially as they are submitted by the Idea Creators. To check them, just click on each submitted Idea and download its files.
  • Close No, it is not mandatory, but we recommend that you do so by using the Idea Scoring Tool we provide to Idea Hunters: its use is easy and quick, allowing Idea Creators to know your opinion, which may lead them to present new and more accurate Ideas thanks to your feedback.
  • Close Idea Hunting provides Idea Hunters with a Scoring Tool, enabling them to give feedback to the Idea Creators in real time. Although advisable, the use of this tool is not mandatory. The Scoring Tool will be available in the Idea Hunters Dashboard on every Active Pitches where Ideas have been submitted. Each Idea may be assessed by assigning it a number of stars, meaning the following:

Not necessarily. Idea Hunting offers you two types of pitches:
    1. The Innovation Pitch, where you previously have to define how many innovative ideas you intend to choose (you have to choose between sets of 5, 10 or 15 winning ideas).
    2. The Creative Pitch, where you choose the creative idea that best meets your briefing.
Nevertheless, if you close a pitch with a good set of ideas, you can acquire more then the ones you have previously decided to buy. In this case, you may pay its authors the same Prize Money you had set to the winning idea(s) and make an additional purchase. By the end of your pitch, if you want to get more ideas than those initially defined, please contact us through comercial@ideahunting.net

Payments are done in Euros by check of bank transfer.
The payment must be done when you order your pitch to be published. The pitch will then be on “Waiting Status” and Idea Hunting will send you an invoice with the contracted services value. Once we receive your payment, we will set your pitch online.
This way we guarantee our creative community that they are indeed working for a cash Prize Money and that the pitch will not be canceled after they have spent time creating an Idea.
The Idea Hunting service invoice will be sent by mail, by our owner company (Projecto Manhattan Ltd.), to the address you have inserted in your registration.
Bank transfer costs will be entirely borne by the company or individual that has contracted Idea Hunting services.

  • Close Yes. In fact, you will be paying for the service and ensuring our community that it is worth to work like a dog to answer your pitch, assuring that at least one of them will be paid for his work. We will be the depositor of the Prize Money set by you until you choose the Winning Idea. Then we will transfer the Prize Money amount to the author of that Idea.

Should you be unable to choose Winning Ideas, you may restart a new pitch, changing one of the following premises:
    1. Extending the pitch deadline
    2. Extending the pitch deadline and increasing its Prize Money
    3. Extending the pitch deadline and improving its Briefing
    4. Extending the pitch deadline, increasing its Prize Money and improving its Briefing
The option to relaunch a pitch has no additional costs (unless you wish to increase the Prize Money) and it can only be done once in each project. Warning: improving the Briefing doesn’t mean you can launch a different Briefing. The Idea Hunting team will have to validate the improvements you have done to your Briefing, judging whether it remains the same but improved. If the improvements done to it prove to make it a different Briefing from its original, you may not relaunch the pitch without costs, because this will be seen by us as a new project.

  • Close The legal rights of the winning ideas belong to the Idea Hunters (brands and companies that have launched the pitches), since Idea Creators previously agree, in each pitch, to give full and indefinite copyrights of their ideas to the Idea Hunters. If the Idea Creator has used, on his submitted Idea, images or other elements whose property rights belong to third parties, he must mention it, so that the Idea Hunter may negotiate usage rights, if it chooses to do so.
